Our hardware based multi-codec encoders and decoders give on-the-go news reporters the flexibility of transmitting live from the news scene using portable, easy to deploy equipment. With the ability to transmit and receive content to and from the studio simultaneously, these small footprint devices are ideal for remote anchor broadcasts or interviews.
For applications with greater channel count needs, Adtec offers 1RU solutions in our AFN-1000 frame.

Portable Multiplexer Configuration​s:
For applications requiring a portable form factor, the AFN-250 frame model offers a smaller, more economical solution. These models are feature rich and easy to use. With support from 4K HEVC with on-board IP multiplexers to a single channel of MPEG2 SD and everything in between, these models can be feature-keyed to meet your needs and budget.

Adtec offers named models for our most commonly purchased frame/chassis configurations. This model includes 2 channels of encode for content acquisition AND 2 channels of decode for in-field verification and production content. Feature keys available to enable required codecs and additional audio counts.
Designed as companion products, these encoder and decoder channels both support the video and audio processing specifications as noted below.
